• Coordination of necessary surveys for the proper design of the projects (topographical, geotechnical, etc.).
  • Ensure that local government requirements are incorporated into the design drawings.
  • Prepare engineering budgets for projects as requested by customer.
  • Prepare all bid documents necessary for tendering services, equipment and materials necessary for the projects in compliance with customer guidelines.
  • Recommend to the customer about potential efficiencies that can be introduced to the projects.
  • Obtain material, equipment, and service quotations from customer approved vendors/suppliers as per assigned projects in accordance with customer practices.
  • Identify potential contractors in the local market, following criteria established by the customer.
  • Keep adequate documentation related to the projects, ensuring it is made available to the customer upon request.
  • Investigate current underground/above ground fuel storage and dispensing systems.
  • Identify environmental issues/concerns of present installations.
  • Obtain/collect available information for those sites, regarding existing site floor plans, fuel storage capacities and develop a database by location.
  • Identify all regulatory issues and develop a Waste Mitigation Plan.

 

  • Develop a bidders list, prepare bid documents, coordinate bidding process with customer, perform pre bid meeting with contractors.
  • Evaluate and clarify contractor's proposals.
  • Support bid analysis process and award recommendation summary.
  • Inspect and review performance of vendors and contractors during the construction activity and ensure quality standards compliance, work schedule, budget, project documents filing, safety and environmental best practices application, and contractual terms application.
  • Assess contractors and vendors, monitoring their over-all performance, recording measurements information.
  • Manage change orders between contractor and customer.
